What is my Adamantium kimono size?

Underneath is our general size chart for Adamantium kimonos. Please be aware that our kimonos fit a little larger than most brands. This is to help compensate for any possible shrinkage after washing. Our kimonos come 95% pre-shrunk but because the fabric is made of cotton there is always a chance shrinkage may occur regardless of how you wash and dry your kimono.

What size should I choose if I want a more fitted style gi or a looser style gi?

If you like a fitted gi but you're concerned about running short, we recommend choose a "long" version.

ex.: You like to wear A2 but it feels short on sleeve and/or pants, go with A2L since A3 would look way too lose.

Disclaimer: How our gi’s fit is extremely important to us and we want to make sure that anybody ordering an Adamantium gi is %100 satisfied. We try to provide as much information as we can about how our gi’s fit, in order to help people find the perfect size for their body type. Please be sure to include your height and weight as well as any other kimono brands you might wear.

Do Adamantium kimonos shrink?

Depending on how often you wash and dry the kimono, our white gis can shrink about 1 to 3 inches while our black and blue gis can shrink about 1 to 2 inches.

When do orders ship out for delivery?

If an order is placed before 2:00 PM, PST (excluding weekends and/or possible holidays), orders are shipped out on the same day (excluding pre-order items), unless otherwise stated. We consider courier transit time as well as the order processing time stated above. All orders that are placed on either weekends and/or holidays will start processing on the following business day.

** PLEASE NOTE ** This ONLY applies to general apparel items currently in stock. EXCLUDED ARE: Kimonos and/or special releases. Estimated shipping times for kimonos can be found in the product descriptions.

What counties/countries do you ship to?

What are my shipping options?

All customers located in the 48 contiguous states, we offer shipping via USPS Priority Express Mail, FedEx Ground, FedEx 2-Day & Ground Home.

USPS Priority Mail is available to all customers located in Hawaii, Alaska, US Territories, APO/FPO/DPO and international countries. 

Please be advised, shipping options do not guarantee a delivery date and are based only on the estimated time of delivery. Tracking and insurance provided. Signature option not available. Packages will be left on the doorstep if customers are not available to accept the package in person. If you are interested in a guaranteed delivery date, choose either the USPS Priority Express 1-Day or FedEx 2-Day shipping options. 

48 Contiguous States:

FedEx Ground/Home Ground: Estimated delivery within 5-7 business days (excluding weekends and/or holidays) after it has shipped.

FedEx 2-Day: After an order has been processed and shipped, delivery is guaranteed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and/or holidays). Some rural destinations may require an extra day in transit. 

HAWAII & ALASKA:

USPS Priority Mail: Estimated transit time is between 3 to 7 business days, but can not guarantee a delivery date. Delivery confirmation number will be provided when made available. Carrier insurance not provided. Signature option not available. Packages will be left on doorstep if a customer is not available to accept the package in person.

GUAM, PUERTO RICO, US VIRGIN ISLANDS, APO/FPO MILITARY ADDRESSES:

USPS Priority Mail: Estimated transit time is 7 to 10 business days, but can not guarantee a delivery date. Delivery confirmation number is provided when available. Carrier insurance is not provided. Signature option is not available. Package will be left at doorstep if customer is not available to accept the package.

CANADA & COUNTRIES OUTSIDE OF THE US:

USPS International Priority Mail: Estimated transit time is 7 to 10 business days, but can not guarantee a delivery date. Delivery confirmation number is provided when available. Carrier insurance is not provided. Signature option is not available. Package will be left at doorstep if customer is not available to accept the package.

USPS International Express Mail:Estimated transit time is between 3 to 5 business days, but can not guarantee a delivery date. Delivery confirmation number will be provided when made available. Carrier insurance not provided. Signature option not available. Packages will be left on doorstep if a customer is not available to accept the package in person.

Fedex International Economy:Estimated transit time is between 3 to 5 business days, but can not guarantee a delivery date. Delivery confirmation number will be provided when made available. Carrier insurance not provided. Signature option not available. Packages will be left on doorstep if a customer is not available to accept the package in person.

Fedex International Priority: Estimated transit time is between 3 to 5 business days, but can not guarantee a delivery date. Delivery confirmation number will be provided when made available. Carrier insurance not provided. Signature option not available. Packages will be left on doorstep if a customer is not available to accept the package in person.

**Please Note** All international, US territory and Military destinations require customs clearance, which sometimes delays delivery. All customers are responsible for all taxes and duties incurred on international shipments. For more information regarding taxes and duties, please contact your local customs office. Orders shipped cannot be declared at a lower value or marked as a "gift". All items must be declared at retail value purchased.

Canceling an order:

We currently process orders to ship the same day the purchase is made if a purchase is completed before 2PM, PST (excluding pre-orders). In order to get the item into our customers hands as soon as possible we operate very quickly. Because of this, the time when a customer can make a change or cancel an order is very short. 

If you want to cancel an order before being shipped, please contact us at (650 307-4670 or via email at info@adamantiumbjjl.com. We will do our best to accommodate you. Please have your order number at hand when contacting us to ensure the process goes as smoothly and quickly as possible. 

Can I change sizes or make a change to an item after an order is placed? 

After an order has been placed, we unfortunately are unable to change sizes. If for some reason a customer still wants to make a change to the purchase, the initial purchase will be canceled and that customer must place a new order within the same time frame of the sale being conducted.

Customers that choose an incorrect shipping method or need to change their address information will cause delays in processing that may result in cancellation.

 

Can I combine multiple orders to ship together?

Because of the volume of orders we are currently receiving and to diminish the chance of any possible processing delays, we are unfortunately unable to combine multiple orders to ship all together at the time being. 

What should I do if I never receive my purchase?

If for any reason you did not receive your purchase, please contact us immediately at (650) 307-4670 or via email at info@adamantiumbjj.com. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for all packages sent to an incorrect address as well as any refused/undeliverable packages. If a customer would like to reship their returned/undeliverable package, customers are responsible for all re shipping charges as well as any applicable fees. 

What if my purchase is incomplete/damaged?

If an item(s) is missing or an item is damaged, please contact us immediately at (650) 307-4670 or via email at info@adamantiumbjj.com. Please do not dispose of the packaging the order came in. Customers in this situation are required to fill out a claim form, so we can further investigate.

Can preorder items be canceled after ordering?

To cancel a preorder item, you must cancel before or on the deadline stated in the item’s description. Due to the fact pre-order items are made-to-order items, cancellations and/or returns made after the stated deadline may be subject to a cancellation fee of 10 percent of the purchase price and will be refunded through merchandise credit (no exceptions). 

What can cause my order(s) to be modified, placed on hold or canceled?

We reserve the right to deny and/or cancel any order placed on our website. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, based on our judgment, might have been placed by resellers or other distributors. Adamantium reserves the right to limit and/or cancel the amount of items purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may or may not include orders placed under the same customer account, the same account name, using the same credit card, Paypal account, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address, or orders that use unpermitted discount codes, or orders placed above the specified purchase limit. If this occurs, Adamantium reserves the right to change and/or cancel an order. We will attempt to notify the customer by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided when the original purchase was made.
